PROGRAM POLICIES PROCEDURES & PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS

PROGRAM POLICIES & PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS

A Screenwriter’s Summer Camp is designed to provide participants with a focused, immersive, professional, and creative learning environment. The following policies and procedures are intended to help maintain a productive experience for all participants, instructors, guests, and staff.

By registering for the program, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by the policies outlined below.

REGISTRATION & SEAT RESERVATION POLICY

Enrollment is limited.

Seats are reserved only after the required non-refundable seat reservation deposit has been received and confirmed.

Submitting a registration form alone does not guarantee enrollment.

Senwot Network Films reserves the right to approve, deny, postpone, or cancel enrollment applications when necessary to maintain the integrity and operational structure of the program.

DEPOSIT POLICY

A non-refundable seat reservation deposit of $295 is required to secure enrollment in either course track.

The deposit:

-reserves the participant’s seat,
-applies toward the full program investment,
-and helps secure classroom placement, scheduling, and   program preparation.

The deposit is non-refundable under all normal circumstances unless the program itself is canceled by Senwot Network Films.

Participants are strongly encouraged to ensure they are fully committed before submitting the seat reservation deposit.

PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment balances must be completed prior to the start of the selected course session unless written payment arrangements have been approved by Senwot Network Films.

Failure to complete payment obligations before the course begins may result in:
-delayed participation,
-forfeiture of seat placement, or removal from the course   schedule.

Senwot Network Films reserves the right to refuse participation until payment obligations are satisfied.

Returned payments, declined transactions, disputed charges, or fraudulent payment activity may result in immediate cancellation of enrollment.

REFUND POLICY

Because enrollment space is limited and seats are reserved specifically for each participant, all deposits are non-refundable.

Refund requests for tuition payments beyond the deposit portion may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis prior to the course start date.

Once a course session has begun, refunds will generally not be issued except under extraordinary circumstances approved by Senwot Network Films.

Participants removed from the program due to disruptive behavior, policy violations, harassment, illegal activity, or repeated misconduct are not eligible for refunds.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Senwot Network Films reserves the right to:
-modify schedules,
-adjust session dates,
-combine sessions,
-postpone classes,
-substitute workshop dates,
-or cancel sessions when necessary due to enrollment --   levels, facility concerns, emergencies, instructor   availability, weather conditions, or unforeseen   operational issues.

If a course session is canceled by Senwot Network Films, participants will be offered:
-transfer to another session,
-credit toward a future session, or refund consideration.

Participants who voluntarily cancel enrollment are subject to the refund policy outlined above.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

This is an immersive screenwriting program built around discussion, creative development, classroom interaction, writing exercises, and cumulative learning progression.

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled classes and workshops whenever possible.

Excessive absences may negatively impact:
-comprehension,
-participation,
-collaborative exercises,
-adaptation assignments,
-table reads, and overall learning progression.

Participants arriving excessively late, leaving early repeatedly, or missing substantial portions of the program may not receive completion acknowledgment or workshop participation opportunities.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Participants are expected to arrive on time and prepared for each class session and workshop.

Repeated late arrivals may disrupt:
-classroom pacing,
-scene analysis,
-discussions,
-writing exercises, and the overall learning environment.

Participants who anticipate being late should notify program staff whenever possible.

Senwot Network Films reserves the right to limit classroom entry during active instructional periods if repeated late arrivals become disruptive.

Participants are expected to maintain a respectful, professional, and collaborative learning environment at all times.

The following behaviors are prohibited:
-harassment,
-intimidation,

All classes and workshops are conducted in a smoke-free and vape-free learning environment.

This is an immersive screenwriting intensive built around concentration, discussion, story analysis, writing exercises, and uninterrupted creative engagement. Frequent vaping interruptions can disrupt both the instructional flow and the experience of other participants.

Participants should be comfortable remaining in class during instructional blocks that typically last approximately 55–70 minutes before scheduled breaks.
