A Screenwriter’s Summer Camp is an immersive filmmaker development experience designed for aspiring writers, filmmakers, actors, content creators, directors, producers, and serious storytellers who want to better understand how stories are developed for film, television, streaming, documentaries, and docuseries.
This is not a casual writing class.
This is a focused creative and professional development experience led by a working screenwriter with real-world production, broadcast, and distribution experience.

STONE MOUNTAIN DESCRIPTION
The Stone Mountain / Redan daytime intensive is designed for participants who want a concentrated, immersive screenwriting experience. Participants spend two weeks deeply exploring story structure, screenplay development, scene construction, dialogue, adaptation, rewriting, and cinematic storytelling. This track is ideal for: aspiring screenwriters, filmmakers,
storytellers, actors interested in screenwriting, content creators, screenwriters developing original projects, and
serious creatives who want full daytime immersion.

FAIRBURN DESCRIPTION
The Fairburn / South Fulton Evening Professional Track is designed for daytime working adults, professionals, and serious creatives who need evening access to professional screenwriting instruction.
This program mirrors the core curriculum and instructional value of the daytime intensive through weeknight classroom instruction and three hands-on Saturday workshops.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Maurice Townes
Director | Screenwriter | Producer | Founder of SNFilms
Maurice Townes is a film director, screenwriter, producer, and founder of Senwot Network Films.
Maurice has written scripts for more than 20 years, including scripts that aired on broadcast television as well as scripts sold to distributors and streaming services.
His professional writing experience includes the sale of his original television drama series, The CLOSET to Q Television Network airing in over 3.7 million households, and a show concept which was later developed into a television series on a major broadcasting network.
His work spans television series, motion pictures, documentaries, docuseries, and original dramatic content.
Participants will learn from a working creative professional who understands not only the writing process, but also the realities of production, development, distribution, and bringing stories from the page into the real world of film and television.
